With the various hikes and bicycle expeditions of medium difficulty in Himalayan foothills, your stay in Munsyari will be at the base of stunning Panchchuli mountain range that is covered with snow all year round. Panchchuli in Nepalese language means – five peaks. According to the ancient Indian and Nepalese Folk Tales, five peaks represent five Pandavas from the fables of Mahabharata. You will be living the life of a local in Munsyari and participate in daily activities apart from the ones specially designed for you.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 & 2: Arrival at Kathgodam

    The Journey will begin from Kathgodam. Then we will spend the next few days in the foothills of the Himalayas, exploring the fruit and flower belt in various villages around the Kosi River and Bhimtal. Participate in the farm Activities and also go on many hiking and bicycling expeditions before we start our journey to the next destination. "Jagar" is a form of worship of “Kul Devta” to call them from their resting stage. It’s a team of 2-3 people called “Jagriaya or Dagriya” with instruments like traditional drum. It is performed at village temple during festival or village families organize at their house to keep evils and bad souls away. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Stay: Homestay
  • Day 3: Drive down to Peora village

    After breakfast, We will drive down to the village Called Peora and then get to your accommodation. Rest of the day will be available at leisure. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner | Stay: Homestay will be available at leisure.
  • Day 4: Explore Binsar wildlife sanctuary

    Adore the most flourishing wildlife sanctuary of Uttarakhand, Binsar wildlife sanctuary, which hosts one of that was established for the conservation of many plants, animal and bird species. It was the summer capital of Chand Kings who ruled over Kumaon valley between 11th and 18th centuries. The activities will involve wildlife expeditions in the sanctuary and storytelling before your onward journey via Kathgodam or Pantnagar Meals: Breakfast, Dinner | Stay: Homestay
  • Day 5: Start Journey to Delhi via Kathgodam
